Earlier CTET could not be held in Harayana state on February 21, 2016 (due to JAT Andolan). Now date of CTET exam for Haryana state has been announced. How to check CTET Result 2016?
The process to view results at either of the websites (,,, where the CTET results are published; is simple. Exam was a multiple choice type one and was divided into two papers. Paper I was for candidates who want to teach from class I to V level. Paper II is for Class VI to VIII level. CTET 2016 Certificate Validity:

Normally, the CTET exam score certificate is valid for seven years from the date of issue of result. To get CTET Certificate, candidates will have to par Rs 200/- to 400/- rupees. Eligible candidates can also take CTET exam to improve their scores from previous attempts. Because toward CBSC, there is no restriction on number of attempts a applicants makes in order to qualify the exam. The CTET certificate will help candidates to get govt job in which there is a requirement of it. Exams for CTET Feb 2016 Paper-I and II were both conducted on the same day in different shifts. As per the original notification issued by the CBSE, the results for the CBSE Feb 2016 were to be announced on or before April 06, 2016. However, no official announcement to this effect has been made. Also, since the Board has so far not released candidates’ OMR sheets unlike on previous occasions, it is likely that the declaration of the results has been delayed.

It may be noted that the CTET to be conducted at exam centres in Haryana had been postponed due to the Jat reservation agitation going on at that time.

History: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test was first held in 2011. More than 7.5 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. However, around 9% were only able to qualify the test. No significant improvement has been observed since then in the pass percentage of CTET candidates. In fact, less than 1% of the appeared candidates could qualify the test in November 2012.
