Important points to remember:
  • The Examination will be conducted in two modes. Computer Based Test (CBT) & Conventional Type (Pen-Paper Based). It will be of 150 marks and there is no negative marking.
  • All questions except those concerning language subjects, will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
  • Validity Period of HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be five years from the date of issue of qualifying certificate.
  • There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring HTET Certificate.
  • Candidates who have qualified STET/ HTET can improve their performance in it. 
  • Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates have to download them from official website at direct link given above.
  • After taking print out of HTET Roll No./Admit Card, go through the particulars etc. and if any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate, the candidate should immediately contact the Special Examination Branch of the Board.
  • The exact place and name of the centre for the test shall be mentioned in them.
  • Such eligible candidate who does not find his/her Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test admit card on the Board’s website (www.htet.nic.in) may contact personally the “Special Examination Branch” of the Board’s office at Bhiwani for this purpose at least one day prior to the date of examination during usual office hours i.e. 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. He/She would be required to bring with him/her adequate proofs i.e. Photostat copy of Computer Generated Application form (“Confirmation Page”), a copy of payment challan in support of having deposited examination fee and an attested copy of certificate of having qualified Secondary (Xth Class) examination, two copies of photograph as uploaded on the Application Form.

CM tells DC ensure fair conduct of HTET news dated 04 November 2015 in "The Tribune" newspaper. List of candidates whose mode changed from CBT to conventional PEN-OMR based flash on 02.11.2015. Wait is over as board has made official notification to upload Admit Cards HTET 2015 Paper from 02.11.2015 at 09.00 am (download started). 12000 HTET candidates deprived of online test, as out of 4.5 lakh applicants 44000 has applied for Computer Based Test (CBT) option. Board spokesperson Meenakshi Ramakant said board could not arrange big exam centres with computer facility for CBT aspirants and there mode has been changed to traditional pen paper test without any extra fees, if they still want online test but may not get home centres (read complete news in The Tribune news paper dated 26/10/2015 page no. 2).  Private schools going to bycott HTET exam (due to holiday for children day) as per news print in "The Tribune" paper dated 19.10.2015. The new dates for HTET 2015 exam are declared by Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), now examination going to held on 14, 15 November 2015. The attendance would be recorded by thumb impression on bio-metric machines, jammers are also installed to avoid malpractices in exam centres.  The examination centre updation link as per your choice is now activated, HTET 2015 examination postponed till October 2015 wait for revised schedule, Home district centres a big relief for candidates,  Provisions will made to ask exam centers options.  Earlier differently abled including blind candidates instructions issued, School Board rejects 3980 applications of HTET candidates also Mock Test Computer based by using roll no. & password started, List of duplicate candidates in same level, Audio tutorial in Hindi/ English and fee defaulters also available and these candidates have to report with valid ID proof along with fee challan to board's head quarter on 14.08.2015………………..
