PTU Books Online SIMS: Get IKG PTU Courses Books Online as The Punjab Technical University (PTU) issues circular regarding Self Instruction Material (SIMs) will be provided to students of Distance Education Programme for academic session 2024-25.  The soft copy of SIMs already uploaded 600 digitized books of different subjects for the courses of IT and Non-IT streams such as BSCFT, MSCFT, BSCMLT, BBA, MBA, MBAHMGT, BSC-IT, MSC-IT, DCA, BCA, MCA, PGDCA, BSCHMCTT, MBAHM, DOTT etc.  Only learning centres are authorize to download online study material by using their login ids and passwords.  The books which are of larger size unable to upload are provided in DVDs.

If any student want photocopy of the same, the LC has to provide photocopy for the books and Rs 1/- per page will be claimed from university by submitting bill to concerned C&F.  If any learning centre not giving photocopy of E-sims to the student then he/ she will complaint to Registrar, PTU.  By providing the online study material for the courses, the students will get refund of 4% in their fees paid for the courses.  The students can visit the PTU website and use their user name and password provided by the university and get the online self-instruction material (SIM).  The learning centres have been given user name and  password for self-instruction material (SIM).
